Delete your OnpChat account

In the app (immediate)

1. Open OnpChat and go to Profile.
2. Tap Edit profile.
3. At the bottom, tap Delete account (حذف حساب کاربری) and confirm.

Without the app

Email er.nasirian@gmail.com with the phone number of the account. We send a verification code to that account in OnpChat to confirm ownership. The deletion is completed within 30 days and you will be notified.

Delete some data without deleting your account

• A message: long-press it → Delete → Delete for everyone.
• A whole conversation: long-press it in the chat list → Delete.
• Your backup on our server: Profile → Backup & restore → set the schedule to Off; to erase the stored copy, email us (below).
• A story: open your story → Delete.
• Profile photo and details: Profile → Edit profile → clear any field or remove the photo.
• For any other data, email er.nasirian@gmail.com; it is done within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile data: name, phone number, username, email, bio, address and profile photo
• Your stories
• Messages and files you sent (on our servers)
• Your chat backups stored on our servers

What is kept

• Messages that other people sent to you or in groups — they belong to their accounts.
• Copies of conversations stored on the other person's device (outside our control).
• Abuse reports already filed, kept for up to 12 months for the safety of other users.
• Technical server logs (no message content), automatically removed within a few days.
